Dr Sam Devlin (http://www-users.cs.york.ac.uk/~devlin/) received an MEng degree in Computer Systems and Software Engineering from the University of York, UK, in 2009. In 2013, he completed his PhD on multi-agent reinforcement learning at the University of York and visited Oregon State University funded by a Santander International Connections Award. His research interests are focussed on machine learning, multi-agent systems, artificial intelligence and game theory. He was a Research Associate on the project from 2013-2015, working on data mining for collective game intelligence. He is now holding a permanent academic role as a transitional fellow in the Digital Creativity Hub and maintains active collaboration with the NEMOG consortium.
