Dr Sam Devlin (http://www-users.cs.york.ac.uk/~devlin/) received an MEng degree in Computer Systems and Software Engineering from the University of York, UK, in 2009. In 2013, he completed his PhD on multi-agent reinforcement learning at the University of York and visited Oregon State University funded by a Santander International Connections Award. His research interests are focussed on machine learning, multi-agent systems, artificial intelligence and game theory. He is currently a Research Associate in the York Centre for Complex Systems Analysis (YCCSA), and is working on data mining/analytics.
