Dr Nikolaos D. Goumagias (http://users.uom.gr/~ngoum/) is a Senior Research Assistant in the Newcastle Business School at the Northumbria University in UK. He received his Ph.D in Applied Informatics from University of Macedonia. He holds B.Sc. degree in Economics from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and the M.Sc. degree in Accounting and Financial Management from the Lancaster University Management School. His research focuses on decision support systems, Applied Optimization and Operational Research with applications in Economics and Finance. Currently, his research focuses on the Games Industry Analysis as part of the New Economic Models and Opportunities for digital Games (NEMOG) Project.
